Fiddler’s Creek Welcomes Back Residents with Themed Event

Sunday, November 20th, 2011

More than 500 fiddler’s Creek members and their guests dined on a scrumptious buffet and enjoyed dancing poolside under a clear starlit sky.
The setting was appropriate for the party themed “White Hot Miami Nights.” But this was not South Beach. Rather, the location was The Club & Spa at Fiddler’s Creek, which had been transformed for the evening to welcome Fiddler’s Creek homeowners and their invited back to the community for the peak season.

The Welcome Back Party is one of several large parties provided annually for residents. There also are events to celebrate the Holidays and New Year’s Eve as well as the annual Passport Party, which treats residents to a buffet of international cuisine from the Pacific Rim, Latin America, the Caribbean and more. The social events at Fiddler’s Creek provide an opportunity to bring residents together to enjoy the superb resort-style amenities that are available at Fiddler’s Creek. Residents enjoy seeing their friends and neighbors who may have been away for several months and catching up on all their news while enjoying fine food and entertainment.

At the Welcome Back Party, residents were met with cool blue lights and live music entertainment by Final Countdown. Meanwhile, four professional dancers clad in white outfits performed on raised platforms, stopping occasionally to pose for photographs with the guests.

Along the pool area were several large banquet tables set with produce from the Farmer’s Market, the Grill House with Texas BBQ brisket, a Seafood Feast with fresh shrimp and oysters, a Hibachi Station and Chef’s Sushi Station, and a Sweet Endings dessert table. The menu was prepared by the Club & Spa Caxambas Restaurant team under the direction of Chef Eric Long.
After dinner, the energy moved to the dance floor as dozens of residents danced along with the band. The evening progressed with a breathtaking fireworks show and further entertainment.
The decorations, the entertainment and the food were over the top.
